What is this? Why are you doing this?

It's a page dedicated to the XRP Ledger validator that I am operating. It is used to track and report on my validator's performance and stability as well as provide information about the specifications of the system.

I operate a validator because as a participant in the XRP Ledger ecosystem I want to ensure its long-term health and robustness and I do not wish to rely only on others for that.

Specifications

The validator is running on a DELL R420 server with dual Intel Xeon E5-2440 processors and 128GB of RAM. The primary disk is a 1TB RAID-6 volume (3x1TB SATA SSDs) and the data store used for the validator's nodestore is a RAID-0 device across two 1TB Samsung PCIe NVMe disks. The O/S is RedHat Enterprise Linux.

The server is connected to the Internet over an unmetered 1Gbps link and has dual dedicated 10Gbps point-to-point link to my full-history server.

The server is co-located at an SAS70 and SSAE16 compliant secure facility with provisions for redundant power, networking and cooling.
